Brides
and Weddings
Its the most wonderful time of your life!
Planning a wedding should be fun and exciting, though sometimes
there are situations that are out of our control. This makes
your new life somewhat stressful. I've gone through the wedding
process. I know what it is like to prepare a seating chart,
a guest list, and pick out bridesmaid gowns. Shoes, shoes,
shoes!!!! When picking our shoes for bridesmaids . . . it's
not the same as the shoe shopping spree we all know and love!!
The staff at Bellezza has awards
for their hairstyling, make-up techniques, and formal updo
hairstyling. Our work has been in a Goldwell National 2002
publication. I travel to New York City every month for the
latest on fashion, accessories, handbags, cosmetics and more.
I have some beautiful attendant gifts and jewelry!!! I'm very
eager to sit with you and do what I can to help prepare the
most memorable day of your life! I can promise you that I
will make your visit fun and enjoyable. You may contact me
for an appointment at: www.bellezzabeauty.com or through our
Bridal Consultant, Sarah.

What's
New in Hair Color?
Peak-a-boo Highlights
Peak-a-boo highlights are a new trendy
technique of highlighting your hair. They allow you to have
a natural and dramatic look all at the same time. The placement
of the highlight will effect how much color you are willing
to show. The movement of the hair design will determine how
dramatic the look will be. Of course, the choice of colour
plays an exciting part in a peak-a-boo. Highlights are placed
within the mid-section of the head allowing the top layer
of the hair to fall over the highlighted pieces, creating
dimension and uniqueness.
Feng Shui
Feng Shui is an ancient Asian belief. Feng Shui involves the
flow of energy to create balance and harmony in one's life.
The concepts of Feng Shui are implemented into the art of
hair design. It is the art of whimsical placement. The styling
team has learned different Feng Shui hair techniques that
give the hair movement with invisible layers. Straight lines
can be a conduit for hardness with a negative reaction if
not applied to the appropriate personality. Where as, a layered
haircut may convey softness, breeziness and approachability.
The hair is shaped and cut into endless design possibilities.
It can be used on many different hair types. It is how we
apply it while acknowledging the natural movement, texture,
density, porosity, and of course, the needs and desires that
fit our personalities and lifestyles.

Face
Facts:
Make Way for Younger-Looking Skin
We all know that regular facials are the key to beautiful
skin. But an appointment with the esthetician is often the
first thing off our lists when a hectic schedule intervenes.
So just how important is that 60 minutes? And do our professional
skin care needs change with age? Having a facial after a day
at work is a delight. You can relax, and do something good
for your skin and for yourself as well. We must take care
of our skin and our selves before we can take care of someone
else . . .
Age 20's Common Problems:
Oily skin, blackheads and enlarged pores, lack of hydration.
Deep pore cleansing is essential at this age, as is rehydration
of the skin. There is a greater production of sebum, which
can cause blackheads.
Recommended Facial: Once a month, Bioelements Decongestant
Cleaner, T-Zone Monitor or Breakout Control.
Age 30's Common problems:
Slow cell regeneration, dehydration dry patches of skin. Facials
are necessary to promote cell regeneration and rehydration
of the skin
Recommended Facial: Once a month, Bioelements Moisture Positive
Cleaner, Cr?me Therapy.
Age 40's Common problems: Signs
of aging such as wrinkles, slower circulation, slow cell regeneration.
Facials should be more massage intensive to improve the circulation
of the skin, and promote cell regeneration. A home care regime
and protection is crucial.
Recommended Facial: Every three weeks, Bioelements Quick Refiner
with Oxygen Cocktail.

Smooth
Take Off ! ! !
If you want to look cool by the pool take a good look at your
legs, especially from your thighs all the way up to your bikini
line. Waxing services use warm honey wax, and even sugar to
denude your skin of hair. The popular method creates a silky
smooth surface, preventing even a hint of stubble from appearing
for several days. A Brazilian Wax, inspired by the sun kissed
beauties of Copacabana beaches, "leaves only about a
pinkie's width of hair to ensure that nothing peeks out from
your thong bikini," explains Connie Marcella, owner of
Bellezza Salon and Spa. Whether you want a modest clean-up
along your inner thighs or you just bought a skimpy two piece
suit and can plainly see what needs to be done, Marcella recommends
following the simple rules for a successful waxing experience.
1. Skip the caffeine prior to your waxing appointment since
this can lead to pain sensitivity.
2. Lightly exfoliate your skin on the days leading up to your
waxing appointment, but not on the day of your actual appointment.
3. Do not tan or otherwise overexpose your skin to U/V rays
the same week of the waxing.
4. Moisturize your skin, but do not apply a heavy moisturizer
the day of the waxing service since this can inhibit the wax
from sticking to your skin.
5. If you are getting a bikini shaping, forget about wearing
your best La Perla panties to your appointment, and ditto
for your bathing suit bottom.
For best results, and the least
amount of discomfort, Marcella advises that you make your
waxing appointments 18 to 28 days apart, depending on how
rapidly your hair grows. And for men, back waxing is more
popular than you think. For as little as $30.00 and a half
hour of your time, your back will be smooth.

Fashion goes 50's style with charming pastel hued pieces.
Revive classic lady-like style with color and detail. Combinations
are a big hit this year. Think of navy and pink, black and
white. Think of every shade of blue you can imagine. White
is also popular. Yes, you may wear a white mini skirt suit!
Mini skirts and printed capris are the sexiest spring style.

Flatter
Your Shape
To enhance curves try a fitted flared pant with a feminine
wrap style top. To create a waist, look for trendy wide belts.
To conceal thighs look for a flowing, tiered, below the knee
full skirt and a low cut neckline to draw eyes up. To look
taller, look for a dress with a deep v-neckline to lengthen
your torso. To create curves try a racer-back that accentuates
your shoulders and shows off your hips. To conceal stomach,
wear flat front pant or cargo and avoid any type of fitted
top. Sleeveless button up tops are flattering.
The shoe - instead of plain
pumps try heels with ankle straps and cutout designs.
The bag - instead of leather, try a oversized straw
handbag.
The basic pieces of clothing - print cargo pants +
bright top + sundress + aviators sunglasses = Spirited Work-to-Weekend
Style.
